A. Who is in your group and why did you guys choose to be in a group together?
Our group consists of Shawn Regan, Chris Campagna, and I (Ben Kunasek). We chose to be together because we are close friends and we feel as if we could further our knowledge if we were in the same group.
B. What is your initial plan to fulfill the object of lunching a ball a given distance?
Our initial plan of launching a ball is created by a force of gravity of a book landing onto a lever causing the opposite side of the leaver to apply a force to the ball, causing it to launch a ball a certain distance.
C. What challenges do you anticipate facing?
We are going to have to find a book that applies enough force to launch a ball 70 ft. Also, the buildup of weight to make a book fall is going to be difficult. Lastly, the amount of time is going to difficult to reach.
