This blog was done by Grant Frye, but I am submitting it because he does not have access to this blog.
1. To this point we intend on using the following simple machines in our project; a pulley, a screw, an inclined plane, and a lever. Right now we have a pulley that lowers a bucket when our toy car is dropped into it, we still must figure out how incorporate the rest.
2. So far we have potential energy of gravity being transferred to kinetic energy this is being done by a marble traveling down a tube and then this is also being shown by a toy car being pushed and then falling into a bucket. We still need to figure out how to incorporate the other transfers into our project.
3. Z built our structure and has helped with ideas, Nate built our funnel that connects to a tube and launches a marble at a toy car. Cameron and I have helped with ideas and building parts of the project like the pulley system.
