A) What changes did you have to do to your original design and
why?
Our group has faced numerous challenges so far in our design. We decided to use every front and back of the board for more space and we have used less tubes, and more levers to get the marble rolling downhill.
B) What other challenges have you faced up to this point?
Our biggest challenge so far is constructing the pully. We are having huge difficulties at that and are still working on it.
C) Outside of simple machines and energy transfers, discuss two other physics concepts in detail that are demostrated in your project.
Well obviously, Gravity is acting as a force on the golf ball when we plan to roll it down a ramp. Also, our machine is an example of the conservation of energy. The total energy at the beginning of the machine will equal the total at the end, after it completes all the tasks.
