Blog Post #2 Group 21

First, we plan on using 3 inclined planes in order to have the ball travel down safely while adding a few seconds to our time. After going down the inclined planes the ball would fall into a cup which would trigger a pulley with a piece of wood tied to the other end and send the wood shooting straight  up. The wooden piece will then tip over a lever, thus sending another ball going down a pipe and continuing the process.

B.
We plan on using GPE, KE, Work, KE to GPE, and GPE to KE. GPE will be shown by the ball falling through a pipe, KE will be shown when the marble goes down the inclined planes, Work will be shown when the pulleys go up and down. KE to GPE will be shown when we release a pendulum (ball attached to string) and have it swing and knock a marble off its platform. GPE to KE will be shown when we drop a heavy object from a certain height and have it trigger the mouse trap in order to send the ball flying towards the target.

C.
I have contributed to the construction of the project as well as the gathering of materials. Martin and Anthony designed the project and every step in it. Gustavo and Chris handle the majority of the manual labor.
