We plan on using inclined planes, pulleys and levers in our project. We will use inclined planes to roll the ball down from the top at a steady pace. Then a pulley will lift the marble up using the weight of a metal ball on the other side. Finally a lever will shoot the ball into the funnel, a ramp will roll the ball into the catapult and launch it.
Our energy transfer are kinetic to gravitational, gravitational to kinetic, kinetic to electric, kinetic to sound, and kinetic to friction. Kinetic will transfer to graviton all when the marble gets up a ramp and drops in the funnel. Gravitational will transfer to kinetic when we first drop the marble. Kinetic to electric when the metal ball hit the light and turns it on. Kinetic transfers to sound when the ball drops in a metal cylinder. Kinetic will transfer to friction when when its rolling down a ramp.
We have all contributed to building the base of the project. We have all also done one write up.
