Day 2- Group 25

A) Which simple machines do you plan to incorporate and how do you plan to use them?
We are using a lever to start the first marble, a pulley to catch one marble then release another, wheels put on a wedge to slide an object down it, inclined planes to act as tracks for a marble, and a screw to activate the catapult.
B) What energy transfers do you plan to incorporate and how will they be demostrated in your project?

We are using energy transfers that deal with Newton's Third Law, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. This happens multiple times when our marbles hit something and activate it. An example is with the pulley. When the marble lands in the cup on one side of the pulley, it transfers its energy and pulls up on the other side of the pulley, releasing another marble. After that marble is released, it goes down some track and hits a mousetrap, transferring it energy into the mousetrap and activating it.
C) Finally, how has each group member specifically contributed to the project since the start?
We all have different physics class periods, so we are able to get more work done. We all helped to design it and gather the initial materials.  Me, Jack, and Aaron added the first bit of tracks first, and Jack added more to our base and walls of the project. Aaron and Camden added the majority of the tracks on it right now. I finished the last bit if tracks, and added the pulley system.
