1. Our main simple machine is a pulley. It will be used to pull a car backwards to enable the marble to continue its path to its final destination to launch outwards.
2. The energy transfers we plan to use are potential energy to kinetic energy. The marble starts at the tallest point down the funnel and moves with kinetic energy down a plastic surface and then down to a wooden surface.
3. Nathan and I created the design. Declan constructed our starting point for the marble. George sawed the wood off and nail it to our surface. So far so good we are happy with the way we have started.
