1. We plan on using inclined please to all the marble to move down our project. We also plan on using a pulley in order to cut a pair of scissors after one side is pushed down and the other is pushed up. Finally, we plan on using a lever to launch our golfball, acting like a catapult.
2. We plan on having multiple changes with mechanical energy, specifically, from potential energy to kinetic energy with the marble. We also might use elastic energy with rubber bands.
3. I completed the design, while Charlie, Nathan, and Zach have all helped with the construction of the rube goldberg. Charlie has brought in some supplies and Nathan and Zach have problem solved and figured out ways to attach pieces and fix design flaws. Each member has been able to contribute to the project in some sort of way.
