Day #1 - Group #30
A) Who is in your group and why did you guys decide to be a group together?
The members of our group are Kyle Muller, Christian Grazzini, Mack Wageman, and Joseph Ehrisman. We decided to be a group together because we are all in the same class, have personalities that make our group work well, and because we are all smart guys that can make our design the best as possible because of our chemistry and combined intelligence.
B) What is your initial plan to fulfill the objective of launching a ball a given distance?
Our initial plan to fulfill the objective of launching a ball a given distance is to have a marble roll down a ramp that will fall into a small container and will be raised by a pulley and will fall out of the container and trigger a switch that makes a lacrosse ball hit a lever that will then make the golf ball launch.
C) What challenges do you anticipate facing?
We anticipate having disputes between our group members on how to build objects and how to design our Rube Goldberg. We expect for our initial plan to not completely work and be the same when we finish our Rube Goldberg. Also, we anticipate having challenges with incorporating all of the requirements correctly into the design.
