Blog 1 Questions:
A) Who is in your group and why did you guys decide to be a group together?
-Our group consists of me, Dean Sayers, Jack Durham, Ryan Brooks, and Elliot Hartman. We chose to be in a group together because we felt that because of our friendship we would be able to work well together rand accomplish the goal of the project.
B) What is your initial plan to fulfill the objective of launching a ball a given distance?
-Our initial is to drop a marble through a series of tubes and pipes before dropping down where it will imitate a launch process where and red light is turned on and then springs a specific golf ball the required distance. The distance is determined before hand by the location of a lever that does the launching as well as the spring force we set the lever to.
C) What challenges do you anticipate facing?
-We anticipate challenges with achieving the correct launch distance as well as creating a circuit to turn the red light on to indicate the ball being launched or landed. It will be tough to also, with the resources we are given, time the ball to land right at the one minute mark.
